The French "Methodical Encyclopaedia" of 1782 defines a menagerie as an "establishment of luxury and curiosity," while the modern-day Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a menagerie as "a varied mixture." We're happy with either definition as the word best describes our vibrant little shop - plus, we're animal lovers here too (six dogs and four cats between five of us!).
Framemasters is a custom picture framing shop with an eccentrically curated 'menagerie' of art supplies. We carry paints, printing inks, calligraphy supplies, books, papers, journals, canvas, sketchbooks and bookbinding materials, in addition to thousands of picture frame mouldings.
It is our hope that you find creative inspiration both in our shop, and through our blog postings. We can't wait to share all of our favorite things with you! Enjoy!
